Open Gear

A multi-purpose, heavy-duty tar based open gear lubricant in a convenient aerosol. USDA authorized. This thick tacky fluid stays on the surface where applied. Has a high temperature stability to 175°F+. Special formula allows material to stretch, insuring contact with all gear surfaces. Use on gears, steel cables, gear boxes, winches, air conditioners, foundries, cranes, pumps, plows, dozers, loaders, graders, scrapers, motors, press fittings and compressors in the following industries: automobile manufacturers, farm and machinery operators, highway paving contractors, automobile and motorcycle repair, amusement park maintenance, industrial machinery operators, metal manufacturers, airport terminals, and HVAC maintenance and repair.

A super-tough, adhesive-type lubricant which penetrates deep into gears, cables and heavy duty mechanisms. Thickens quickly to a tacky, black, stringy lube. Provides a Molybdenum Disulfide shield which maintains a cushion of lubricant between gear teeth and other friction-producing surfaces. Absorbs high shock loads, extreme pressure and prevents chipping and scuffing. Forms a protective, water-resistant coating that prevents corrosion in outdoor and even underwater applications. Use on passenger and freight elevators, drag lines, mining equipment, cranes, construction equipment, tug boats, dredging and earth moving equipment, textile and steel mill machinery, winches, marine equipment, offshore drilling rigs.

High tack lubricant that penetrates deep into gear teeth and cable before thickening to a heavy black stringy lubricant. Automatically re-coats gear teeth with each revolution of the mechanism. Contains high wear-resistance additives to prevent viscosity breakdown and spin-off. Unique dual spray valve - pencil spray for those hard-to-reach areas or fan spray for laying down a film. Used by construction, marine, and industrial plants.

A lubricant with excellent adhesion and heavy viscosity providing a tough lubrication that will not drop or be thrown off. The tacky adhesiveness of this product continuously recoats and lubricates all gear surfaces. Extremely effective when used underwater. Forms a film that resists rust and corrosion. Increases life of all gears. Extreme pressure capacity minimizes squeeze-out. For open or exposed chains, wire, rope or cables on heavy loads and extreme pressure, snow removal equipment, marine and dockside equipment, elevators, cranes, and drag lines.
